Neil is one of my oldest friends, back from the days when were both young and angsty and rebelious and convinced we'd change the world. It's fascinating and a little scary to think about how quickly time has passed since we were 16 and 17 and how much our lives have changed the types of people we thought we'd become. But it really makes me realise how lucky I am to still know him, so we can trudge though our pasts together and remind ourselves how we came to be who we are now.

New Year's Eve
Happy 2013!
I saw in the New Year at my mom's place with my ever expanding step-family, which of course meant I got to snap more photos of the two youngest and considerably most adorable members of our family.
Playing fetch.
Pow!
With their great-grand mother, Alice.

Christmas Day
I hope everybody is enjoying the festive season! Every year I spend my day between my husband's family home and my grand parent's house, with twice the yummy food and twice the lovely company. I do love christmas :)

5pm
So winter has finally reached the UK, bringing with it soggy leaf covered pavements, rain speckled windows, the long, dark nights and worst of all, the kind of cold that gets right into your bones.
Patterns in the rain.
Waiting.
A view.
I can't wait for spring.

Autumn
My stepdad is a camera junkie and luckily for me he's a generous one. Ever since I first started taking pictures he's been letting me borrow his photography equipment, most recently his Canon 20d.
I want one.

Snapshots
Although last night wasn't quite the 5th of November, my family got together at my grandparents house as we do every year for a bonfire and fireworks. Luckily we managed not to burn anything down this year!
