The adorable Bywater family shot back in 2009 and was one of the first real portrait sessions I'd ever done. We took the pictures on the grounds of the school playscheme we were working at for the summer.

We're still waiting for the summer to arrive here in the UK.

On Thin Ice

Black and white film photos of a very frozen River Severn. Again, took these back when I was at college and they stayed untouched until I got my hands on my step dad's negative scanner.

I think it's amazing that these shots were taken on a camera that technologically, was nothing special, and yet the picture depth and quality is so much better than any of my digital cameras. Too bad I don't have an enlarger. Sigh.

Our country garden wedding.

On Saturday the 4th of August, we got married.

It all started out very quaint.

 

after the ceremony we went back to my new in-law's house and  had afternoon tea and cakes. (Because we're fancy).

The weather was stormy, but warm.

And we were amongst great friends.

 

The cake was amazing!

We couldn't have asked for a better day.
